Affiliate links, explained plainly.

An affiliate link is a tracked link to another company. If a reader follows it and makes a qualifying purchase, the referring site may receive a commission. The reader should not be charged more because the link is an affiliate link.

If Terrarium Guide begins using these links, a clear disclosure will appear close to the relevant recommendation as well as on this page.

• Inclusion should start with suitability, not commission rate.
• Selection criteria and meaningful limitations should be visible to the reader.
• We will not claim to have bought, handled, or tested a product unless that is true.
• Prices, stock, seller terms, and product details should be checked on the seller’s site before purchase.
• Sponsored placement, free samples, or another material relationship must be labeled separately if they ever occur.

Using an affiliate link is optional. Readers can go directly to a seller, compare other retailers, or decide not to buy. Editorial information should remain usable without following a commercial link.

A commission never transfers responsibility for an order to Terrarium Guide. Payment, shipping, returns, warranties, and product support remain between the buyer and the seller.

If a commercial link is missing a disclosure, leads somewhere unexpected, or no longer matches the surrounding description, please report it through the contact form.
